Most people are a fan of something. But here are the ways and examples of taking your fan obsession too far.
#7. You plot against the opposing team.
It's OK to be a fan of your favorite team and boo the opposing team. But when you become vengeful like a bad Japanese B-movie then you are over the line.
A.
One of the greatest feuds in college football is the Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. It was November 2010 when Auburn beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl. A person naming themselves Al called into the Paul Finebaum radio show January 2011. And admitted to pouring poison 80DF in the famous 100-year-old oak trees in Auburn's Toomer's Corner.
Where for years Fans would gather and celebrate Auburn officials then tested the trees and discovered that it was true. The trees were slowly dying. After valiant efforts the trees had to be cut down. But Al also called a college professor admitting to the crime. And that was traced back to Harvey Updyke. Once convicted he spent 6 months in jail and ordered to pay 8000,000 in restitution.

November 2002, it was Barcelona vs Real Madrid in soccer. Real Madrid's star player was Luis Figo and fans managed to sneak an interesting item to throw at the star. A complete pig's head was thrown at him!

The scene is the college football star shows how tough he is by lying down in the highway as cars and trucks whiz by in the dark. Michael and a friend laid down on a two-line highway. And sure enough a truck came along. His friend Dean Barlett was badly injured.
Michael Mcias of Long Island also tried this stunt and was hit by a car. In both cases the police reported that they were indeed trying to reenact the scene.

Mega-movie star Ryan Gosling as a kid was such a huge fan of Rambo that he thought he was him one day. You brought to school some steak knives and proceeded to throw them during recess. Luckily, he was caught by teachers and suspend before anyone got hurt.

Dustin Self left his family home in the Oklahoma City to go on a walkabout. To see if he could survive in the wild on his own. 2015 a wannabe Doc Brown, was in Florida watching Back To The Future. When he decided he could travel through time. So he got in his Dodge Charger and hit the road. Reaching 88 miles per hour as he expected to see the past. What he really saw was a brick wall. Luckily no one was hurt.
