Famous Actors Who Were Cut From Famous Films.
Andy Garcia Was A High School Dropout.
Michalle Pfeiffer stars as LouAnne Johnson, a former Marine, who applies for a position as a high school teacher. Who finds herself confronted with a classroom of sullen teenagers. In the course of the movie, she makes an impact on the kids' lives and turns her class around.
Andy Garcia portrayed her love-interest, but his scenes were cut early into editing. Which cutting out his character did make a lot of sense. A huge part of LouAnne's backstory is that she recently divorced her abusive, cheating husband. She is still getting over that, and it translates to her getting a fresh start while trying to help these kids get theirs.
As you can see when you watch the film, she spends so much time with her students, on and off school property. So, it doesn't leave much time for her to have a love life. Plus, the hardship of her divorce has such a weight that it would be wrong of her character to have a love-interest. It would thematically not balance her character arc and the emotional weight of her mental state.

Boyled Out.
Lara Flynn Boyle has been cut out of two of your, yes, your favorite movies. The first being a small role on Farris Bueller's Day Off. Much is not known about what her role was.
Then, in 1989, she was getting dressed to go see the premiere of Dead Poets Society. About 30 minutes before leaving to go see it, she received a call from a bottom of the pole assistant at Disney. Who told her she might not want to go as she was completely cut from the film.
Her role was some-what lengthy as she starts off as a dorky girl and comes into her own by the end of the movie. She did eventually go to see it. She was told her part was cut out due to time constraints. Which she saw all these long scenes with birds and stuff. leaving her to wonder why she was cut for the birds.

The Lost Amigos
Who doesn't like the hit 1986 film, The Three Amigos? Appearently, that one person who doesn't would be Sam Kinison. Directed by John Landis, it stars Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Martin Short as an acting trio who gets misunderstood for being real heroes.
One scene featuring the screaming comedian was cut. Sam plays a cannibalistic mountain man’ who encounters the trio. It is supposed to take place after they encounter the invisible swordsman. Lucky and Ned end up getting caught in a trap which was set up by Sam.
He’s described as covered in leather, chicken feathers, and skulls, with blood over him and holding two axes. It’s said that there are several scenes where they try to kill him, but he’s unstoppable. After Dusty finally shoots him, Sam starts pulling out pictures of his children from his wallet and saying, “How could you do this to me?” as he dies.
According to John Landis, the scene was very funny and had a good reception at a test screening. However, John reluctantly had to cut it due to time constraints. Sam’s brother, Bill Kinison, claims that Sam and Chevy Chase really didn't get along well at all. That Sam was convinced that Chevy got it removed due to jealousy. Bill says that he didn’t believe it, and Chevy denies the claim.
For the DVD release, John Landis was interested in including Kinison’s scene as an extra. However, the studio said that they accidentally lost the footage and that they were unsure where it went.

Phil Rudd filmed a number of scenes for the 2001 hit, Bridesmaids, that were cut from the film. Staring with him on a blind ice-skating date with Annie. He was supposed to be just a really nasty guy. cussing at kids, cussing at himself, raving like a lunatic, etc. Being an example of who Anne didn't want to be with. The first cut of the film was almost three hours long, so bye-bye, see you on the set of Clueless 2.
No Space For Han Solo
Harrison Ford did a cameo in the hit film, E.T. Where he played a stern principal. Elliot was sent to the principal's office after the frog incident. Ford's character reprimands Elliot, and Elliot's chair starts to levitate to the ceiling due to E.T.'s extraterrestrial powers. Before the principal turned around from looking out the window, the chair was back on the ground. The scene was cut after it was thought that it was a bad idea for the likeable Ford to play a mean character.
