#7. Stolen get-away car.
'Victim takes getaway car' is the headline from the LA Times. 2013: Stockton, California, was the scene of two armed robbers that tried to take a Burger King. One of the victims, an employee, snuck out the backdoor. Where they saw the pair's getaway car. So, they jumped in and drove off. Going around the block, but the robbers didn't see it until it was too late. The call to 911 was being made by the employee. They were expecting to have four wheels. Instead, they only had their own four feet. So, they took off on foot before they could get all of the cash. The police caught them (Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt) moments later in a nearby field.

Fugitive Randell Goins was brought back to Seattle, Washington, in 2013 after hiding out in Florida. He was being sought after because he didn't pay the employees of his debt collection service. The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries ordered him to pay multiple tens of thousands of dollars as a result. He saw that it was cheaper just to run. Victoria Laird Cortes was owed $3,500, but he was obviously not going to pay. However, she discovered that his Facebook was still active. So, she decided to do a little cat fishing. She came up with the character of Tatiana La Coneja. A very sexy Spanish lady who used pictures of the hottest Puerto Rican chick she could find. Citing that she knew what kind of women Goins went for. So, she befriended him as Tatiana, and the flirting began. Goins wanted to meet his new, hot friend. Sending her pictures of him holding wads of cash. A date was set up at the Fort Lauderdale airport, and Goins showed up. Hoping to meet his next girlfriend, he was instead met by bounty hunters. Victoria alerted the bounty hunters, as Goins was wanted for bail jumping as well. So, he had a price tag on his head. Victoria appeared in court and let Goins see who it was all along.

#5. Poop box.
Amanda Torres and her fiancé lived in Lodi, California. When he put up surveillance cameras to keep his family safe. But also, as a deterrent; however, that didn't work. A package from Amazon.com was stolen from their front steps. Then there was a second time that the same thing happened. But the camera image wasn't clear enough. So, the two set up a sting using another package. Setting up the cameras better and waited. What was in the package? Dog poop! Sure enough, the third time was the charm, and the thief was caught on camera, clear as day.
#4. Robber laughed at victims joke.
There is a newspaper clipping telling the story of an Oak Hill, Texas, couple that came home one evening. Little did they know that a burglar was there when they arrived. So, the crook hid out and could have gotten away when they went to bed or left. But instead, the husband told a really funny joke. It was so funny, in fact, that the burglar laughed. So instead of getting away, he was found, the cops called, and the burglar will live on!

#3. Airplane.
Steven Tyler of Jonesboro, AR, was in a friend's plane one sunny afternoon. When he asked the pilot, David Hudson, to do a flyby over his house. It was a quick flight from Memphis, TN. And all was as fine as could be. The same odds of winning the multi-million-dollar lottery three times in a row were in Steven's favor. As they flew over, they saw two burglars loading their score. They couldn't believe that they saw Steven's belongings being carried to a truck from the skies. Steven called his nearby uncle, but as he arrived, they dropped the stuff that wasn't tied down and took off. The plane then followed the thieves and gave the police turn-by-turn directions to catch them. Deputy Sheriff Phillip Wheaton said he never expected to be given a description and exact route of the thieves from the sky. Soon they were chased down and arrested with little trouble! Roosevelt Smith III and Joseph Peel, both of Jonesboro, were charged with residential burglary and theft of property. However, there was no report that the pilot popped in Danger Zone from the Top Gun soundtrack as they gave chase.
#2. Over sight-bite.
Yorkshire's Steven Pickles reported a break-in at his home's garage. Someone ate his popsicles and drank his beer. The police did their normal investigation. It was days later that Steven himself discovered a crucial piece. A full set of false teeth were left next to his freezer. Justin Stansfield had already been arrested for a bunch of other burglaries. He was already known as the toothless thief. So the toothless man was the obvious choice. He claims he was drunk and doesn't have much of a memory of that night. This was added to his other charges, and he spent a toothful of 16 months in prison.

#1. Poopy pants.
Michael Rieger is a bartender who has had to deal with out-of-control patrons. So, he's got some experience wrestling with folks. He came home late one evening to find his door open. Thinking it was the wind, he entered, only to find Benjamin Hoppe. As the suspect tried to run out, Michael grabbed him and wrestled him to the ground. Ben got loose but left something behind—his HIS PANTS. Which were filled with sh*t! Sh*t was also found at the doorway, so apparently, he had the running sh*ts. The cops were called and found the suspect. lying face down with a hoodie, boxers, and one sock. And that was all he was wearing. Well, it didn't take Sherlock Holmes long to see that this was their man. Instead of a smoking gun, its shi*ty pants!
