Marauder is the band's fifth studio album. Released in 1981 and is the third part of the band's commercial high point. Strikes - Tomcattin' - Marauder. My review of this must start here, Searchin' and Diary Of A Working Man are perhaps Ricky Medlocke's best vocal performances and lyric writing. For this album the heavy is toned down just a small step and a slight more radio friendly feeling steps in. But songs like Good Morning and Dry County keep the hard and heavy quota up. The album is a great mixture of everything that the band excel at. Very positive example of musicianship and songwriting quality. I read in sales figure that this sold more in Japan than any of the band's other albums.
