Railroad Man (Shorty Medlocke)
1975 Comes the band's first album No Reservations'. Recording at the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Sheffield, Alabama. Operated by producers Jimmy Johnson and David Hood. In only 28 days, the foursome recorded, mixed and mastered their first album. Which was released on Island Records. Although overlooked this album continues to be an underground seller among fans. It's release on CD for the first time in 2004 was a welcomed affair. Since LP's of the album were selling around the 100$ range on EBAY and other sites. It begins with the cover of Medlocke's granddad's Railroad Man. Here's a hard rocking straight to the point song. With a thundering blues boogie rhythm section. Indian world deals with the struggles of Native Americans in the past. The same song theme was used on the SIOGO album in the song White Man's Land. Stars is perhaps the one Blackfoot song that went unheard which is the most underrated. About another band who makes it to the top. And seems to forget who their friends are.
