Yes I understand the complaints I've heard that the album is too short. That aside (for you fans that only like the hard rock sound) this album began to turn the clock back to their hard ways. While still trying to fit into the modern rock sound of the time. No question that this is the band's heaviest production. Beginning with the drum crunching on Doin' My Job. Keyboards were set aside on this album except for under the song Not Gonna Cry Anymore. Solder Blue is Black Sabbath meets Blackfoot. Enough said. The unsung hero on this album is Runnin' Runnin'. Melodic and heavy with a bit of the friday night in your car feeling. Standing head and shoulders above all others is Guitar Slingers. Words can't do this song justice. You just gotta hear it. Safe to say it belongs on any Blackfoot Greatest Hits.
